The Gendlii are an insectoid species native to the planet N'chak.
Early in their history, they encountered the Earth probe Voyager 56 captured it for study. After finding the digitized DNA sequences on the vessel, they utilized it to create a clone race known as the Celotti for labor purposes. They are mostly an isolationist species, utilizing several Celotti as ambassadors.
